From opening night to through Sept. 23, organizers of the Patrick County Agricultural Fair are preparing to celebrate the fair’s 65th year.
The fair begins September 19 at Rotary field in Stuart. It’s the biggest family and community event in the area, attracting more than 10,000 people annually.
Mud Boggin’ Tuesday is new. Mark the date — September 19 — on your calendar now. More information about this new event soon will be announced.
Other changes include the Rodeo and Barrel Racing, held on Friday, September 22 and the Demolition Derby, scheduled for Saturday, September 23.
Proceeds from the fair are reinvested into the community by providing scholarships, supporting local non-profit organizations, as well as maintaining and expanding Rotary Field.
The fair is presented by the Rotary Club of Stuart.
