The Stuart Farmers’ Market will begin its 2016 season with a “sneak preview” market on April 29.
The official opening day is May 6 and will feature crafts with the Reynolds Homestead at 9 a.m.
On May 13, the Patrick County Master Gardeners will be on hand, and pressure canner seal lid checks will be available.
The F.A.R.M. T.E.A.M. will be performing at the market on May 20.
On May 27, Pioneer Community Hospital will provide health screenings.
The farmers’ market is open on Fridays from 8 a.m. until noon, May through November, and on Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., June through September.
Movies will be presented on the first Friday at 8 p.m. in June, July and August.
