Members of the Stuart Town Council said the 20th annual Apple Dumpling Festival was a massive success.
Despite the threat of inclement weather that afternoon, Mayor Ray Weiland said the festival attracted had a great turnout.
As for the star of the show, Weiland said “The apple dumplings were excellent, with the ice cream of course.”
Town Manager Bryce Simmons thanked town employees for helping to set up the event, and the Stuart Fire Department for its support in keeping the pedestrians safe, particularly during road crossings.
