Volunteers from the Patrick County Democratic Committee spent the Labor Day weekend at the annual local Flea Market, selling donated items to raise money for the Patrick County Community Food Bank. The effort cleared $700 in sales and donations.
On September 13, Committee Chairman, Janet Demiray, and Vice-Chairman, John Reynolds, presented the $700 check to Dudley Clark, longtime board member and volunteer at the Food Bank, in the presence of a number of Food Bank volunteers.
Patrick Democrats were happy to contribute to this vital community organization and to emphasize the commitment of grassroots Democrats to giving a helping hand to those in need.
