The Reynolds Homestead will host its third year of free children’s art at the Creative Arts Center. Children ages 2 to 10 are invited to come out and enjoy a craft on the following Fridays: June 28 and July 12, 19 and 26. The hours for the events are 8:30 to 11 a.m.
The Creative Arts Center is located at 334 Patrick Avenue, across from the Stuart Farmers’ Market, which also will be open.
Some of the projects include making Fruit Fans, Beaded Dragonflies and Butterflies, Fingerprint Flower Magnets and Milk Carton Bird Feeders.
The program was organized by Sydnee Burnette of Stuart, a Virginia Tech marketing student who is doing her summer internship at the Reynolds Homestead.
Art on Market Days is offered free due to a sponsorship by the Winston-Salem Foundation.
