Patrick County residents are eligible for free COVID-19 testing, beginning October 1, from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday at Patrick Urgent Care.
Grant funds from Virginia are being tapped to pay associated costs, according to a release from Dr. Richard Cole.
Test results are expected in 1-2 days.
Those seeking tests must answer a few questions, but do not have to get out of their vehicle.
An appointment is not needed.
Additionally, Patrick Urgent Care is announcing new hours of operation, the release stated.
The facility will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning October 1. Flu shots are available.
