People who are interested in history, the arts, music, health, youth and adult education may want to consider joining The Friends of the Reynolds Homestead.
The diverse array of programs presented by The Reynolds Homestead, an outreach of Virginia Tech in Patrick County, provides enormous local support to the cultural presence and growth of our society in this county.
The Reynolds Homestead provides an opportunity for regional artists, musicians and educators to share their talents with the community. We all live busy lives and can’t attend every event around the county. But, those of us who want to participate in supporting the cultural community of Patrick County may join the Friends of Reynolds Homestead and may rest assured they are supporting worthwhile programs in their community.
Our health and education is, of course, vital to a successful and fulfilling life, but cultural experience is as necessary to our hearts as bread is to our bodies. Patrick County may be rural and sparsely populated but the quality of our artists, our history and our education is unsurpassed and deserves our support.
The Reynolds Homestead invites you to an appreciation dinner for current friends and guests who may be consider becoming a friend on Thursday, September 27 at 6 p.m. RSVP to (276) 694-7181, or just send your $25 membership to “Friends,” The Reynolds Homestead, 463 Homestead Lane, Critz, VA 24082; or go to http://www.reynoldshomestead.vt.edu/support-us/friends-reynolds-homestead/.
