Mountain Valley Hospice is again selling holiday memorial ornaments this year. The ornaments are a way many honor loved ones who have passed away; and proceeds from the sale help support Mountain Valley Hospice’s mission.
The 2016 hospice ornament is made of pewter. It features a dove and rhinestones along with a Christmas greeting and the Mountain Valley Hospice logo.
“We hear that our annual ornaments have become collector’s items,” said Sheila Jones, director of marketing for Mountain Valley Hospice. “This year’s design is particularly beautiful, and will offer folks a special way to memorialize a loved one while supporting the hospice mission.”
All ornaments come in a gift box, and are dated and tagged with a memorial name. The price is $25. Ornaments may be purchased and picked up any time or shipped as Christmas gifts.
Many who purchase ornaments participate in a Mountain Valley Hospice tradition to have their ornaments displayed on trees at local hospice offices. Ornaments left to be displayed may be picked on Thursday, December 22, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
