Master Gardener John Morehead installed Butterfly and Mason Bee houses in the Uptown Native Gardens and the Stuart Farmers’ Market Herb Gardens. The houses were built by Morehead and painted by Master Gardeners. You can ask Morehead about the birds, bees and butterflies at his table at the Stuart Farmers’ Market, or listen as he discusses many gardening and wildlife topics with other master gardeners on WHEO community profiles, which airs on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 8:30 a.m.
Plant markers are another recent addition to the Native Gardens and Library Gardens. The markers are to help the community learn more about the plants.
