Wendell Joseph Hutchens of Stuart graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University on December 18, 2015, with a bachelor of science degree in turf grass science. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in plant pathology at North Carolina State University. He is the son of Barry and Laura Lea Hutchens of Stuart.
