A crew of advisors, admissions counselors, and financial aid experts from Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) will visit the Patrick County site of PHCC on Thursday, April 22, to help new and current students get ready for next semester.
The class schedule has been published and students are flocking to register for the classes they need. Since time slots fill up quickly, some students are racing to get the timeslots, instructors and locations they prefer.
To make this process easier for all the students in Patrick County, PHCC is bringing the advisors to the county.
From 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, students will have a myriad of resources available to help them get registered and even complete financial aid.
Financial aid representatives and members of the Educational Opportunity Center [EOC] will be present to assist with questions regarding financial aid and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
This fall, PHCC will offer a variety of classes online and in-person. Safety measures will be deployed across campus to ensure that in-person classes are offered in the safest manner possible. PHCC’s Patrick County site, located at 212 Wood Brothers Drive in Stuart, offers many of the services available at the main campus in Martinsville including advising, FAFSA completion assistance, and tutoring.
