Grand jurors in Patrick County handed down more than 70 indictments on December 2, according to records in the Patrick County Court Clerk’s Office.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, but a grand jury’s determination that enough evidence exists to warrant a trial.
Those named in the indictments are:
*Allen Michael Bowman, 26, of Stuart, possession of a firearm by nonviolent felon within 10 years, June 12.
*Tricia Najla Nicolosi, 46, of Stuart, strangulation, June 10.
*Seth Harmon Wade, 35 of Stuart, one count each destruction of property, abduction, malicious wounding, May 23.
*Brittney Michelle Woodie, 32, of Pulaski County, grand larceny, October 5, 2022.
*Andrew Russell Tabor, 42, of Stuart, 1st degree murder, August 23.
*Isabella Fisher, 25, of Claudville, child endangerment, May 17.
*Ronald Lee Cassell, 57, of Meadows of Dan, child endangerment, June 22.
*Charles Alfred Dawson, 67, of Ararat, maliciously shoot at occupied motor vehicle, May 26.
*Leslie George Service, 65, of Critz, maliciously shoot in dwelling, August 28.
*Zachary Ty Johnson, 27, of Stuart, attempt to commit malicious wounding, August 28.
*Joshua Wayne Justice, 35, of Stuart, three counts each aggravated sexual battery – victim less than 13, and indecent liberties with child under age 15, on or between October 5, 2012 and October 5, 2016.
*Erich Louis Alwine, 23, of Stuart, six counts of distribution of child pornography, November 22, 2021.
*Hailey Faith Boatman, 22, of Woodlawn, arson on or between March 21-22.
*Lauren Audrianna Hayden, 26, of Mount Airy, N.C., arson, on or between March 21-22.
*Jerry Christopher Howard, 41, of Patrick Springs, one count each possession with intent to distribute Schedule I or II drug- 2nd offense, and distribute methamphetamine, 227 grams or more, April 22.
*Sammy Wayne Smith, 52, of Ararat, one count each assault and batter on law enforcement officer and possession of a firearm by a convicted violent felon, on or between July 19 and July 24.
*Thomas William Taylor, 37, of Patrick Springs, possession of Schedule I or II drug, September 19.
*Matthew W. Blackmon, 36, of Blue Ridge, one count each construction fraud and contracting without a license, April 25.
*Spencer F. Bowles, 32, of Spencer, one count each possession of Schedule I or II drugs, carry concealed weapon, and possess a firearm while possessing a Schedule I or II drug, August 19.
*Tanya Leahann Branch, 44, of Patrick Springs, one count each welfare perjury and welfare fraud, July 11.
*Patricia A. Cassell, 60, of Meadows of Dan, one count each welfare perjury and welfare fraud, March 1, 2023.
*Wesley D. Edmonds, 33, of Cana, one count each construction fraud and contracting without a license, August 13.
*Turner Lynn Foddrell, 68, of Stuart, false statement on firearm form, February 20.
*Gary Richard Mitchell, 66, of Claudville, false statement on firearm form, October 29.
*Scott Eugene Moore, 52, of Cana, perjury, October 25.
*Eric Phillips Pack, Jr., 47, of Elkin, N.C., two counts aggravated sexual battery- victim under age 13, and one count each indecent liberties by parent and object sexual penetration- victim under age 13, on or between November 1, 2019 and December 30, 2021.
*Jennifer Michelle Ramsey, 28, of Bassett, possession of Schedule I or II drugs, May 27.
*Zachary Dalton Scales, 29, of Ararat, two counts grand larceny, and one count each break and enter in nighttime, possession of a firearm and petty larceny, on or between August 29 and October 2.
*Amber Renee Scott, 37, of Stuart, identity theft, on or between August 16 and September 30.
*Nikolaus Ryan Tabor, 38, of Stuart, one count each forgery, uttering, and obtain money by false pretenses, October 17, 2023.
*Lou Ann Thompson, 49, of Bassett, possession of Schedule I or II drugs, July 23.
