A public hearing will be held Monday on a proposed budget amendment for fiscal year 2021-22 due to an increase of grant funding in the Patrick County School Board budget.
The hearing will be held during the Patrick County Board of Supervisors meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. on March 14, in the 3rd floor courtroom of the Patrick County Administration Building in Stuart.
The board also is scheduled to consider setting dates to hold public hearings on setting the tax rate, a dangerous dog ordinance and a comprehensive plan.
It plans to discuss a building permit fee rebate, and hear reports from Schools Superintendent Jason Wood and Sandra Belcher, director of the Tourism Department, who will present a report about the Visitor’s Center.
The board may meet in closed session to discuss personnel and contract matters.
