Mrs. Irene Salmons Hall, age 84 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on June 11, 1935, to the late Oliver I. Salmons and Evelyn I. Conner Salmons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Ralph Hall; a sister, Julie S. Cockram; a brother, Namon Salmons. Mrs. Hall was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Hall is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Carol Hall and R.J. and Carol Hall, all of Stuart; six grandchildren and their spouses, Brian Hall, Dana and Travis Worley, Travis and April Hall, Andrea and Daniel Alderman and Chris and LeeAnn Harris; seven great-grandchildren, Caleb, Ashley, Tucker, Ethan, Landon, Cole and Paxton; two sisters, Doris A. Edwards and Mac McPherson, Nancy S. Hylton; one brother, Darriel K. and Jean Salmons, all of Woolwine and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial was at Jacks Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Shaun Draughn officiating.
