Cox (Beryl); several nieces and nephews; and his special pets, Maiya and Teddy.

A memorial service for Mr. Goad will be held at Tory Creek Missionary Baptist Church (178 Tory Creek Rd, SW Meadows of Dan, Virginia 24120) at 2:00 pm on January 24, 2026, with Pastor Howard Nester officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday afternoon.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Maple Shade Cemetery Fund, c/o Diane Cox, 543 Tory Creek Road SW, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
