John Kenneth Keith, 65, of Mount Airy, N.C., died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C.
He was born in Surry County, N.C., on December 19, 1950 and was a son of the late George Elton and Barbara Mabe Keith. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Danny Ray Keith and Bobby Ray Keith; and a half-brother, Roy Keith.
He was a self-employed logger and was a member of Raven Rock Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Payne Keith of the home; daughters, Kamonica Keith and Kontessa Keith, both of Mount Airy; three grandchildren; one sister, Kaye Hawks of High Point; N.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Moody and Betty Keith and Wade and Julie Keith, all of Mount Airy; and Kent and Lavern Keith and William and Lynn Keith, all of Ararat; many nieces and nephews; very special friends, Darren Goins and Roy Lawson.
A memorial service was held Saturday at Raven Rock Wesleyan Church with the Revs. John Aldrich and Sammy Lawson officiating.
