The Patrick County High School junior varsity Lady Cougar basketball team split two games last week.
Last Tuesday, they lost to Halifax 31-28.
Logan McGhee led with nine points. Jadyn Lewis added seven and Suzanne Gonzalez scored four.
Last Wednesday, the defeated Tunstall 49-20. Eleven players scored in the game. Abigail Epperson had 11 points; Jadyn Lewis and Danielle King added seven points, and Logan McGhee and Julianna Overby each had six points.
Kate Spencer had 11 rebounds and Suzanne Gonzalez had seven in the win.
The JV Lady Cougars had a record of 12-6 on the season.
