JV Volleyball team plays three

The JV Lady Cougars opened their season at home August 22, defeating North Stokes in 3 sets: 25-22, 10-25, and 15-10. 

Leaders for the match were Sophie Scruggs with 4 kills, 3 digs, and 2 aces. Madison Scott had 8 digs, 2 kills, and 2 aces. Camille Gonzalez had 11 assists, 3 kills, and 2 aces. 

PC traveled to Floyd County August 23, losing to the Lady Buffaloes in 2 sets: 22-25 and 15-25. Camille Gonzalez led the team with 3 kills, 7 assists, and 2 aces. Madison Scott added 2 kills, 2 aces, and 1 dig. 

Thursday, August 25, The JV Lady Cougars fell to Dan River in 2 sets: 18-25 and 14-25. Jayden Callahan had 5 kills and 3 digs. Sophie Scruggs had 2 kills and 4 aces, and Camille Gonzalez added 7 assists.  The JV team is 1-2 on the season and will travel to Bassett August 30.
