Mr. Kenneth Lee Bowman, age 80 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

He was born in Switchback, West Virginia, on September 22, 1945, to the late Walter Bowman and Hazel Blevins Bowman.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Ellis Mills Bowman; a grandson, Shane Rogers; and four siblings, Ted Bowman, Bobby Bowman, Mildred Harris, and Bonnie Hall.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and had retired from Primland.  He loved his family and being “Paw Paw” to his grandchildren.  He loved his antique vehicles and was a kind man who was willing to help anyone.

Mr. Bowman is survived by a son, Bryan Bowman (Karen); a daughter, Beckie Lynn Bowman; three grandchildren, Casey Rogers, Ashley Bowman, Ryan Bowman (Kursten); two great-grandchildren, Shyla Fitzgerald and Grayson Bowman; several nieces and nephews; companion, Linda Ramsey; and special friends, Buddy and Faye Crank.

A graveside service for Mr. Bowman will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Knowles-Eden Family Cemetery with Pastor Lonnie Hylton officiating.  Military rites will be conducted by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.  Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
