The 37th Annual Kibler Valley River Run will be held on Saturday, July 27, on the Dan River near Claudville.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
This is a competitive run with more than 30 categories of competition using canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, duckies and more.
Competitive runs begin between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
The event is sponsored by the Red Bank Ruritan Club of Claudville.
All funds raised will be used for a variety of community projects.
The entry fee is $25 per person. Non-competitive participants pay the same fee. Rustic camping is allowed for $20 per night. Service animals are allowed. No pets in the food preparation area.
Directions: From Claudville, follow Virginia 773 (Ararat Highway). Turn onto Kibler Valley Road and go 4.2 miles.
