The Fairystone Volunteer Fire departments Ladies’ Auxiliary met Aug. 27 to say thanks and start planning for the next ‘Country Breakfast on Sept. 21.President Doris Craig opened the meeting. Prayer requests and a prayer lead by Becky Foley was heard, then other bureaucratic duties were attended to.
The club thanked everyone who helped make the last ‘Country Breakfast’ a success. They discussed plans for the next breakfast scheduled for Sept. 21. They hope to see everyone there!
The club also discussed their booth in the upcoming Patrick County Fair, representing the Fairy Stone Vol. Fire Department, giving out door prizes and drumming up interest in the department.
The Auxiliary also celebrated its August Birthdays with some refreshments.
