The Patrick County middle school girls’ soccer team opened its season March 6, with a 5-0 win over Martinsville.
The score was 5-0 at the half. Scoring for the Lady Cougars were Gladis Quiroz, who scored three goals and Summer Helms, who scored two goals.
Isabella Martin had three saves in goal, and Makenzie Williams had two saves in goal.
The Lady Cougar middle schoolers lost to Halifax 5-0 Thursday, March 8. Isabella Martin had 15 saves in goal.
Last Thursday, Patrick County tied Fieldale-Collinsville Middle School 1-1. Destiny Cruise scored the lone goal for the Lady Cougars.
The MS Lady Cougar soccer team played at Benjamin Franklin Middle School Monday.
