The Patrick County High School girls’ varsity soccer team lost to Eastern Montgomery last Tuesday.
“We started off slow last night for the first half and that put us behind. We had to move several players into positions that they don’t normally play because of injuries,” said Head Coach Sandra Rakes of the loss.
She continued, “We came back more aggressively in the second half, holding them to only three goals in that half.”
The Cougars’ next game was against the Bulldogs of Martinsville on Monday, April 9. Game start time is 7 p.m. and will be at Martinsville High School.
