The governing bodies of the Piedmont District and the Region IV VHSL offices have announced All-Team nominations for varsity softball. Patrick County High School had several Lady Cougars named to the teams.
For the Piedmont District (1A-3A division), First Team-All-District nods went to Morgan Hughes, second base; Savannah Moorefield, outfield; Brandi Woods, utility player; and Cassidy Largen, pitcher. Coach Roger Wilson was named Coach of the Year.
In Region IV, Brandi Woods was named to First Team All-Region as utility player. Second Team All-Region went to Savannah Moorefield in the outfield and Cassidy Largen as pitcher.
School officials send congratulations to these Lady Cougar players and their accomplishments this past season.
