The Patrick County High School Lady Cougar volleyball team traveled to Auburn High School last week to scrimmage the Lady Eagles.
According to Coach Heidi Moore, the second scrimmage in as many weeks opened the door to much improvement for the Lady Cougars.
“We played a lot better in this scrimmage,” she said. “Our passing has improved tremendously since last week. We will tweak a few things today that we saw in the game last night,” she added.
“We are definitely moving in the right direction for our first game on Monday at North Stokes,” she said.
The Lady Cougars played at North Stokes this past Monday and will host Christiansburg Thursday with JV starting at 5:30 p.m.; varsity will follow at 7 p.m.
