I have also had the immense pleasure of meeting and listening to Stephanie Cook, who is running on November 7th for the House of Delegates in the 9th District.
I have been extremely impressed with Stephanie’s engaging warmth, her genuine and loving concern for the well-being of her neighbors, her enthusiasm, intelligence, and for an amazing ability to hear and respond patiently to every point of view.
She is very concerned about rural voters not being heard in Richmond
and that the people in this district are having a hard time getting ahead in this economy. She feels that the state legislature has a huge impact on people in their daily lives especially in the areas of healthcare for all, a way to make a decent living with a living wage, quality appropriate educational opportunities, and most of all, the everyday welfare of the children who are in our care.
If these are all things that are also a concern for you, I urge you to get to the polls on November 7th and give her your support. It is time to have some new ideas and some fresh insights into improving the quality of life here in Patrick County. It is my opinion that Stephanie is willing to go to Richmond and get this done and I am endorsing her candidacy.
