The LifeSpring Center, at 218 Patrick Avenue in Stuart, will be open Mondays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., beginning September 6.
At the center are resources for people, young and old, that give hope, healing, and rest to harried lives. There are books, magazines, videos, and DVDs to be used on site on topics such as marriage, parenting, and families, healthy diets and lifestyles, vegetarian cooking, nature and God’s creation, natural composting and gardening, controlling personal finances, and how the Bible relates to today.
The aim of this library is to offer a quiet place for people to visit and learn ways to make their life happier and more fulfilling. Life has become quite stressful in areas that include health, finances, and relationships. LifeSpring offers resources that can make improvements in our personal and family life.
A new treadmill has also been set up to encourage more exercise, especially in inclement weather. This, too, can be a form of relaxation.
Classes also will be offered periodically by specialists in certain areas of interest, such as natural remedies and the use of herbs for healing.
Everyone is invited to come to LifeSpring to get acquainted with this new resource center.
