U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Chenoa L. Daye graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Daye is the daughter of Tonya B. and Bonnie L. Daye Jr. and sister of Tyler M. Daye and Bonnie L. Daye III of Mebane, N.C., and granddaughter of Dena H. and Neal A. Barnes of Efland, N.C.
She is a 2013 graduate of Orange High School, Hillsborough, N.C. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2017 from Ferrum College, Ferrum.
