Lorine Patterson Lemons, 84, of Martinsville, died Friday, October 14, 2016, at her home.
She was born October 7, 1932, in Patrick County, and was a daughter of the late Charlie and Minnie Curry Patterson. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Harry, Harvey, and Walter Lee Patterson, and her sisters, Frances Hammock, Pencie Darby, and Mary Lou Rossomando.
She was a high school graduate, and a longtime member of Clearview Wesleyan Church. She retired from E.I. DuPont with 37 years of service in the spinerette manufacturing area.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Cecil Houston Lemons of the home, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
Her funeral service was held Tuesday in the Roselawn Chapel with John Quinlan officiating. Interment was in Roselawn Burial Park.
