A Meadows of Dan man is being held with no bond on a charge of attempted murder.
Patrick Sheriff Dan Smith said Chet Perdue, 22, of Meadows of Dan, turned himself into authorities on July 7, following an alleged June 23 incident. Perdue also was sought on charges of use of a firearm in commission of a felony and shooting into an occupied dwelling in connection with the alleged incident.

Holli Taylor Cox, 20, of Stuart, was charged July 1 with assault. Lt. R.S. Coleman made the arrest.
