Thank you to the Ararat Community for participating in the March 17 Blood Drive. There were 20 units collected, which will go a long way in helping others.
Our next blood drive is set for Thursday, July 15, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Ararat Ruritan Building. Appointments can be made for whole blood or “Power Red” donations. Of course, walk-ins also are welcome.
The American Red Cross also accepts appointments on its website, redcross.org.
Patients in need count on blood drives like ours to supply a steady supply of blood. Each donation can save up to three lives.
We encourage anyone who has never given blood before to consider our drive – bring a friend along.
