Heather Marshall and Joe Wilson were united in marriage on Saturday, August 13 at five o’ clock in the afternoon at the Stillhouse Manor in Hillsville. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Ed Hartman of Patrick Springs.
Music was provided by Allan “Pooch” Spence of Ararat.
The bride is the daughter of Billy and Sandy Marshall of Ararat. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Rhoda Marshall and Noel and Effie Eaton, all of Ararat.
The bridegroom is the son of Ed Wilson of Ararat and Lisa Wilson of Mount Airy, N.C. He is the grandson of Don Kight of Covington, Ind.
Given in marriage by her parents and family, the bride was escorted by her father.
Matron of honor was Leighanna Hicks. Bridesmaids were Marie Willard, Kendra Sawyers and Jeanette Hawks. The flower girl was Loralye King.
Best man was Ryan Hubbard. Groomsmen were JB Kerns, Josh Wise, and Beau Booker.
The bride is a graduate of Patrick County High School and Ferrum College, where she received a degree in accounting. She is employed by The City of Mount Airy.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Patrick County High School. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He is employed by Weyerhauser.
They reside in Mount Airy .
