In an effort to give fans of all ages the best race day experience possible, Martinsville Speedway is introducing a youth ticket price for the Green Flag Experience, before the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on October 30.
The ticket, for youth 12 and under, which includes driver question-and-answer sessions, the opportunity to walk on the frontstretch before the race and see driver introductions from the track, is $20.
“We want to make every part of the Martinsville Experience family-friendly and by offering special pricing for youth to the Green Flag Experience is one more way we’re able to do that,” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said. “We already offer youth pricing on grandstand tickets and it just seemed like the right thing to do.”
Youth pricing on race tickets in the Clay Earles Tower are also $20.
“Since my grandfather opened the track nearly 70 years ago, we’ve always prided ourselves on being family friendly,” Campbell said. “We want kids here. We want Martinsville to be a place where family memories are made.”
In addition to the emceed question-and-answer sessions, walking the frontstretch and driver introductions, the Green Flag Experience offers fans the opportunity to sign the start/finish line, a photo opportunity in mock Victory Lane, and to enjoy music, games and prizes along with show cars plus doughnuts, Danishes, coffee and juice.
The driver question-and-answer sessions, food, music, games and prizes, and show cars will be held in The Plaza from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. The track portion will open at 10 a.m. and will remain open until the finish of driver introductions.
Admission to the Green Flag Experience does not include a ticket for Goody’s Fast Relief 500.
Advance adult ticket prices for the Green Flag Experience are $50 and race tickets start at $45.
Ticket prices increase race month.
