The Meadows of Dan Ruritans will meet October 6 at 7 p.m. at the Meadows of Dan Community Building.
President Ralph Barnard is pleased to announce that the program on October 6 will be presented by Debra Shelor, representing the Tri-Area Health Clinic of Laurel Fork and Floyd. She will explain services offered in the community by health professionals including rehabilitation programs for short-term and long-term patients.
Ruritans of Meadows of Dan are gearing up for the annual Pancake Days scheduled for Sunday, October 9 and Sunday, October 16 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day.
This is a fund-raising event held each year, benefiting the Meadows of Dan Fire Department and the Vesta Rescue Squad. Volunteers are needed and welcome. They can contact Brenda Quesinberry at (276) 694-2001 to sign up.
