A public meeting to begin planning this year’s Veterans Day event will be held on Wednesday, July 29, at 7 p.m. in the Stuart American Legion building. Although there is still some uncertainty about being able to conduct this parade, organizers said “we can’t wait until the last minute to plan for this special event. We are seeking the help of citizens in Patrick County to help us plan and conduct this parade.”
The meeting is open to all interested persons and organizations.
Light refreshments will be available.
