Stuart United Methodist and Stuart Baptist Churches are uniting for a special Memorial Day weekend service in the DeHart Park gazebo at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 28.

Bring your favorite lawn chair and sit out under the trees and share in a time of memorial for the fallen heroes of our nation. There will have a time of silence to honor the fallen men and women of the armed forces there will be a salute veterans as well.

There will also be special music by Tina B. Smith.

All veterans and families of veterans are encouraged to be the guests, along with everyone who would like to pay tribute to the men and women who gave their all that our country could have the freedoms that we have.

A covered dish lunch will be held following the service at the picnic shelter.

In the event of rain the service will be moved to the Hooker Building at Rotary Field.
