The Disaster Relief Food Ministry will hold a food giveaway at Fairystone Baptist Church on Aug. 27, from 5-7 p.m. The event will be open to anyone who wishes to come and will be held regardless of the weather.
Upon arrival, participants must sign up by giving their name, phone number, address, and the number of people in their household.
Jimmy Willard, spokesman for the ministry, said the event late is set for later in the day to make sure those who are working have an opportunity to come participate.
