Here we are still having to stay home and wearing a mask and gloves when we go out, but I am managing okay, and going to church and helping at the Food Ministry and enjoying Elizabeth’s Pizza. Edie Lemons gave me a big tote bag of Amish and inspirational books, so I’m a happy camper at night.
Thanks to my next door neighbor for inviting me to the sweet little girl’s birthday party. It was a very nice birthday party and that sweet child was walking everywhere and only one year old. I enjoyed the evening. Thanks for taking good care of me. I was cool in the tent, and the food was delicious.
Good to hear from Danny Reynolds. I miss seeing you, come and see us sometime.
Church was in the parking lot again. It was over before it got too hot. It will really be nice to be back in the church again.
Love and prayers to Della Pilson’s family in the loss of one so dear. Della was my friend for a long time. I always enjoyed talking to her. And I went to homecoming at her church. It was so wonderful. You should hear that choir as they sang in the church, then down the aisle and outside and around the church yard and back in the church. I will never forget that day because they made me feel so welcome. I really cherish that last time I talked with her. She called me not long before she passed away and now I know she was saying good bye. My love to the family.
I went by William Collins’ on Monday and took him some things for the Food Ministry.
Thanks to Keith Medley for getting my trash and doing a little more weed-eating here and there. Sure am glad I don’t have to go to the dump anymore. That’s another blessing.
The Food Ministry at church was really blessed with a lot of food, fruits, veggies, pizza, and bread. If you need any food, feel free to come.
I was saddened to hear of the death of Betsy Wilder. She was one of my favorite people when she talked on the radio. She loved her church, my love and heartfelt sympathy to the family.
Hello to all the folks at The Enterprise. I miss seeing you all so much.
I’ll be so glad when I can go and visit some of the shut-ins. Let’s keep praying this virus will slow down. Some areas have been hit hard lately with more cases.
Food For Thought- Harriet Beecher Stowe says, “When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you till it seems as if you couldn’t go on another minute longer, never give up then for that’s just the place and time that the tide will turn.
