Here’s a little for the kids – what does a snowman take when he is sick? Answer: A chill pill. Guess that makes sense.
It was really nice to sit down and visit with neighbor Brian Ratliff, when he brought me up a photo of his grandfather’s tractor. Then, it was nice to have lunch at Elizabeth’s Pizza with Sue Hall and Judy Gardner. Then, I went to see neighbors Teresa and Larry. It was a good, relaxing day.
I’m enjoying the first book of the Milford series. Thanks to Mary Ann, I think I will like all three. Milford, N.C. sounds like a town I would love to visit.
The Soup Kitchen fixed some delicious soup this week. Baked bean soup was delicious because I tried it and my clients liked the broccoli cheese. It was good. Both the Food Ministry and Soup Kitchen were blessed with a lot of bread of every kind.
Keep Arlene Trent on your prayer list at this time. She has undergone some extensive surgery. Also, keep her husband Leonard in prayer.
One of my best friends in the whole world is celebrating a birthday. Happy birthday up in Meadows of Dan on Groundhog Day (I think I got it right) to Bernice Irvin.
Prayer time at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church was wonderful on Tuesday. We never even got to the Bible Study because of a great testimony.
The guys in the kitchen at church on Wednesday night surely did look sharp in the aprons that Edie made for them. Also a special thanks for the good meals they have prepared every Wednesday night for several years. Come and join us at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church for a free meal and a good message from the pastor.
Neighbor Teresa Martin is still getting along well. Still keep her in your prayers. She recently celebrated a birthday and I’m wishing her many more.
Hello to my friend Louise down in Horsepasture, and God bless you.
