Good News! I’m blessed I can walk outside some. Emptied the old flower pots and picked up some limbs that had blown off the trees. Boy! I was ready for a break after that, but was thankful for that and walking.
Thanks again for all the cards and prayers. I appreciate everything so much. At last count, I had 194 cards and letters, and I plan on keeping them. A lot of them are from different states.
It was good to get a call from Arlene Trent and catch up on the news. She said the Hebrew class did a potato and salad bar to raise money to buy Hebrew Bibles. Sorry I missed that.
They say the bridge on Old Mill Road will be completed in May. That’s good news and things can be normal again.
It’s always good to hear from my sister-in-law Hilda Nithler. Both of us are waiting for spring and warmer weather and getting outside. Thanks for calling me.
Special thanks to neighbor Larry Martin for getting my car running and getting a sticker on it. Good neighbors are a treasure, aren’t they? Then, I took a practice run in the neighborhood to get used to driving again.
When I got the mail on Thursday, I had a Valentine’s card in the box. When I was in grade school, we made Valentines for each other and decorated all the windows at Mountain View School with hearts. We did the same thing for all the holidays that way. We made a lot of memories.
Mary Ann in D.C. always makes her cards, and I have kept all of them. She always has a surprise in them.
