There are lots of signs of spring showing now. All kinds of bulbs are peeping out. Even some Easter lilies are blooming up in Stuart and some here.
I was happy to see my friend from Meadows of Dan the other day. Jose, it was good to see you. You are looking great. Jose and his family some of my favorite people.
Also, it was good to see Louise Bowman and husband. She was a cook in my favorite places to eat in the good old days.
The other Sunday, I was thrilled to be invited to Pastor Ben’s home for Sunday lunch after church. It was a very good lunch centered around the Daniel Fast. Also, I was glad to meet the two donkeys and horses, plus dogs and chickens. Thanks for the hospitality and the country eggs. You have a real homestead there.
Prayer times get better every Tuesday. Come and join at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.
I always enjoy my visits with my neighbor Miss Caroline.
Love and prayers go out to Anne Taylor up on the mountain.
Please keep the family of Beau Beasley in your prayers and thoughts.
It was nice to hear from my cousin Ruby Asbury last week. She stays busy teaching classes about genealogy and family history.
The men’s ministry did a great job of cooking for the Daniel Fast. Thank you.
Continue to pray for Arlene Trent as she has to have more surgery.
The food ministry received a pickup load of bread. A very kind gentleman picks it up and brings it to us. Thank you! What a blessing!
Remember, wherever we go, we will encounter people who need compassion. As we show compassion, we will be pointing others to the one who poured out His heart of grace and compassion on us. Compassion is understanding the troubles of others.
Keep our friends, Linda Roberts, on your prayer lists.
Join Faith Fellowship Church on Elf Trail March 12 for their 10:45 a.m. service and meal. The pastor is Freddie Bond. Everyone is welcome.

When worry walks in on us, our strength runs out. But strength returns when we run to God. Remember, He is always there.
