February went by so fast that I hardly saw it. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older and time slips by.
I went into Elizabeth’s Pizza the other day and when I ordered, someone had left money for my lunch. I was really surprised. Whoever you are, thank you so much for the surprise and blessing.
We finished the 21-day Daniel Fast and it wasn’t bad at all. Really, I felt good all the time on it. Maybe I should eat like that a lot. Then they had a prayer walk at the church. It was beautiful with all the candles and various stations of things we need to pray for every day.
Thanks to the gentleman who brings us loads of good bread. You are a blessing.

My longtime friend, Lanita Howell Harris, will celebrate a birthday in March. Hope you have a blessed birthday and much love is sent your way. I have lots of good memories of when we were growing up in the Mountain View area of Meadows of Dan.
Recently, my friend Linda Roberts gave me a book about the evangelist Clyde Dupin. He started preaching when he was nine-years-old. I really enjoyed the book.

Mary Ann called from D.C. on March 2, and filled me in on the news there. I told her what was happening here –it’s always good to hear from her.
Don’t forget the March 12 anniversary service at Faith Fellowship Church on Elf Trail. The service starts at 11 a.m., and the pastor is Freddie Bond. Everyone is welcome.

FROZEN STRAWBERRY SALAD
I pkg. bite-sized marshmallows
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c fresh sliced oranges, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 c mayonnaise
1 c whipping cream
Drain juices from oranges and strawberries, heat juices and melt marshmallows slowly in juice. Mix cream cheese with a small amount of mayonnaise and add to the hot marshmallow mixture. Cool and add fruits and the remainder of the mayonnaise. Fold in whipped cream and freeze in a shallow dish.
