It sure has been a lot of rain and flooding. It’s so sad that the City of Martinsville was hit hard with a lot of damage to some businesses. Keep them all in your prayers.
I loved the Gideon speaker at church on Sunday. He was so interesting and I would love to hear him for a longer time. On this Sunday, the graduates were also honored. It was a busy day at church.
The Strawberry Festival was really good and the weather cooperated all day. I enjoyed all the music. My favorite was the gospel group, but all were good.
I enjoyed breakfast at Honduras Coffee Shop and it was good. I also enjoyed Wanda’s rose garden. It was so beautiful – check it out.
“Miss” Claudine Wood is still excited about her 98th birthday party and she loves company coming.
Mary Ann called from D.C. on Thursday. They have been having a lot of rain in D.C.
I hope a lot of you heard Van Rowe and The Colonel on Patrick County Profile (WHEO). It was really interesting with the history of the soup kitchen. Things are going well, they started with 14 and now are up to more than 90 people. Also, the garden there is looking good.
It’s yard sale mania here in Patrick County for the Memorial Day weekend. Lots of people coming. Then there’s the big annual gospel singing at Dominion Valley There’s always something to go to in Patrick County.
