IVALIEN REYNOLDS
I’m still all excited about my trip to the Amish country and loved every minute of it. Thanks to my wonderful neighbors Larry and Teresa Martin for the wonderful trip. I’ll always keep all the good memories in my mind and the lovely Amish family that I visited in their home.
Thanks to Mary Simmons for coming by and bringing me some pretty and delicious tomatoes. It’s always a joy to see new neighbors. They are a lovely family.
Thanks to Dick and Kathy Soloman for all the cans donated to the Soup Kitchen. They are appreciated very much.
I was saddened to hear of the death of Rev. Jack Foley, one of my favorite people. He had a booming voice and I love hearing him talk and preach. He was truly a man of God. Love and heartfelt sympathy to his wife, Angie and the rest of the family. Keep them in your prayers.
The revival at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church was so good. I surely did enjoy Stephen and Kim Hoell. Stephen preached like I heard it when I was young and going to church. If you didn’t come, you missed a blessing.
It surely was a happy day when I got a note from the Lapp family. I will always treasure my visit with them. Thank you, Jesus.
Miss Claudine Wood is still doing good at age 97. We talk by telephone every day except Sunday. She is amazing.
My neighbor Vera Plasters is another amazing person at 101—won’t be long and she will be 102. I always enjoy sitting and talking with her.
I surely did enjoy my visit with Belinda Barnes the other day. She seemed to be doing well and in good spirits. Thanks to Jerry Morgan for taking me. Belinda would like to thank all the people that helped and stayed with her while waiting for the helicopter to transport her following a bad automobile accident. Keep her in your prayers.
We are so thankful for the nice gentleman who brings us truckloads of bread to the Food Ministry.
Jimmy Willard is going to take a truckload of water to a flood area.
They say the Patrick County Fair is bigger and better this year.
Keep Alan Koegler in y our prayers. Recently he was in a very bad motorcycle accident and it’s a miracle he came out alive.
Remember: It’s a great thing to know the season for speech and the season for silence.
