Because of the need for social distancing in our communities, Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care’s “Big Hospice Raffle” fundraiser has been updated to allow online participation.
“We are excited to offer this opportunity for everyone to secure entries into the raffle by donating online,” said Melissa Hiatt, Senior Director of Development for Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care.
Proceeds from the raffle will help support the hospice mission of providing end-of-life care to patients, even those who are uninsured or under insured.
“As a nonprofit agency, we don’t turn anyone away, and so we rely on the generosity of the public to help sustain our mission,” said Hiatt. “The online raffle is a fun way for the community to help raise funds that go directly into providing care for patients.
Drawings that begin April 1 will award two prizes a day to lucky winners and continue each day throughout the month. Raffle tickets are entered for a minimum donation of $10 each, and there are 60 chances to win over $5,500 in cash and prizes, plus three surprise drawings.
Each day, the winning tickets will be re-entered into the drawing and remain eligible throughout the entire month of April.
Winners and their prizes will be announced daily on Facebook at Facebook.com/mtnvalleyhospice.com. For more information, or to secure your tickets, visit www.mtnvalleyhospice.org/ways-to-give/big-hospice-raffle/.
