Mrs. Carolyn Elizabeth “Betsy” Wilds, age 90, of Stuart went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 13, 2020 at her home. She was born in Stuart on June 20, 1930 to the late Jesse Guy Davis and Audrey Dickerson Davis. Betsy was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church and the first woman to help break ground at the current site of the church. She was a lifelong member of the choir at her various churches and the Ladies Mission group. She had been a volunteer with hospice for 13 years and was a member of the Stuart Book Club for many years. She loved to play bridge and travel, especially to the beach. Second only to her Salvation, family was the most important thing in her life.Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Len Wood; one grandson, Keven Wood and fiancé, Ashley Howell; her dog, Lex; and a host of other family members and special friends.
Due to Covid19, Betsy would not want anyone to become sick attending her service so a private family graveside service will be held.
