Mrs. Hollis Rorrer Fain, age 80 of Patrick Springs, Virginia passed away on Monday July 6, 2020, at her home. She was born in Patrick County on January 18, 1940 to the late Coy Allen Rorrer and Maude Ethel Belcher Rorrer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Fain; and four brothers, Allen Rorrer, Melvin Rorrer, Marvin Rorrer, and Donnie Rorrer. Mrs. Fain was a member at Conner’s View Primitive Baptist Church, worked for United Elastic Company, and served as a teacher’s aide for The Patrick County Public School System for 21 years. Hollis was known for her sewing, love of gardening, and her willingness to share her faith wherever she went. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, and a loving mom and mema.Mrs. Fain is survived by three sons, Barry Fain (Tammy) of Stuart, Jerry Fain (Charlotte) of Goode, and Benny Fain of Goode; four grandchildren, Erin Fain Brown (Josh), Ben Fain, Brandon Fain, and Adam Fain, three sisters, Delcie Belcher of Woolwine, Evadell Lyon (Hubert) of Woolwine, and Linda Fain (Herman) of Stuart, one brother, Bernice Rorrer of Bassett, and several nieces and nephews.
