Mrs. Patricia Ann Boyd, age 80 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at her home. She was born on December 13, 1939 in Wisconsin to the late Vincent Greene and Verna Sanders Greene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindi Louise Rose Brewster; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Myrtle and Frank Boyd; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Boyd. Patricia was a member of Meadows of Dan Baptist Church. She was wonderful at crocheting and knitting and was very adept at many other crafts. She loved flowers, gardening, and helping people.
Surviving are her loving husband of 41 years, Ronald Gray Boyd of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teri and Len Woodruff of Garysburg, NC, Toni and Wayne Adams of South Hill; one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Lee and Anne Brewster, Sr of Rawlings; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Stephanie Greene of Carson, Ronnie and Joyce Greene of Vesta; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Eileen Boyd of Meadows of Dan; and several other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Boyd Family Cemetery with Pastor Shawn Carter officiating.
