The Reynolds Homestead invites the public to come outside and enjoy “Music on the Lawn” on Sunday, September 11 at 2:30 p.m. with The Crooked Road Jazz Quartet.
Jazz music with David Oakes (guitar), Tom Klingelhofer (bass), Ted Alt (saxophone)and Dwight Joyce (percussion) will be presented in the delightful atmosphere of the historic Reynolds Homestead and the shade of the giant magnolia trees on the lawn. These are master jazz artists—even Virginia Tech student Ted Alt has traveled to New York City with his sax.
Jazz on the Lawn concerts are relaxed BYOB events. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair, a picnic and beverage of their choice.
The concert begins at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $8. Children under the age of 15 are admitted free.
