Tom Perry’s Laurel Hill Publishing has announced the release of “I Touch the Future. I Teach: A Short History of Blue Ridge School.” The book will be available Saturday, Nov. 8, from 8 a.m. until noon at the Ararat Ruritan Club Yard Sale.
Perry will sign books and have copies of his other books available for purchase that day, with proceeds
from book sales to benefit the Ararat Ruritan Club’s new Elderly Fuel Fund, which helps provide heating fuel to seniors during the winter.
Perry’s new, 66-page book is available in paperback, Kindle and Audible formats for $10 on Amazon (ISBN-13: 979-8297320833).
The event will also feature a bake sale, craft sale and yard sale at the Ararat Ruritan Club on Ararat Highway. Vendors will be encouraged to donate a portion of their proceeds to the Elderly Fuel Fund.
